III. How data is gathered and processed while you visit our website
1. What non-user-related data does the Website gather while you are visiting us?
Each time a user accesses our website, i.e. each time a user retrieves or attempts to retrieve a file
on this server, data referring to this process is stored in a log file. This data is not user-related;
we can therefore not generally ascertain which user has retrieved which data and neither do we attempt
to ascertain this information.
a) Each time a file is retrieved, a dataset is saved comprising the following items:
- IP address (possibly user-related)
- Name of the retrieved file
- Date and time of file retrieval
- Volume of data transferred
- Report as to whether retrieval was successful
- Report as to why retrieval failed
- Name of Internet service provider
- Browser information (e.g. type of browser and monitor resolution)
- Operating system
- Website from which you arrived on our site.
b) How does Stennie Photography use the non-user-related data it gathers?
All of the aforementioned data is used for our own statistical evaluations. We use this data to
make our website better and safer for you to use.
2. What user-related data does the Website gather while you are visiting us?
The personal data you enter (such as your name, address, and contact data) is sent to a central e-mail
address in the form of an online contact form, and read and evaluated by our service personnel.
This means that your personal data is stored temporarily in a mailbox pending further processing, and is
deleted after completion of processing. The personal data we receive is used exclusively for the purpose
of getting in contact with you and responding to your enquiry.
No matter much we endeavour to maintain the security of your data in compliance with prevailing data
protection laws, no electronic communication is completely safe. It can therefore not be excluded that,
despite the efforts made by us, any information that you disclose voluntarily through the Internet may be
used by others. For this reason, we are unable to accept any responsibility or liability for information
becoming disclosed due to errors in data transmission and/or unauthorised access by third parties.
